The French curriculum track makes Redbridge ideal for French-speaking families but less relevant for British or American families who want a purely English-language education. The school is smaller and less well-known than the main Lisbon international schools, which means fewer extracurricular resources and a smaller peer network. The IB Diploma is only offered at Year 12 — this is not a full IB Continuum school. For French-speaking families, Franco-Portuguese families, or any family who genuinely wants trilingual education, Redbridge is one of the most underrated and underpriced options in Lisbon. The Campo de Ourique location is a genuine quality-of-life bonus.
