PaRK International School is the most centrally located international school option in Lisbon — with three campuses spread across the city (Alfragide, Praça de Espanha/Restelo, and Alvalade), most Lisbon families have a campus within reasonable distance.
PaRK's most distinctive feature is its bilingual English/Portuguese pathway from age 1 through Grade 4. Both Portuguese and international families choose PaRK specifically because children become genuinely bilingual in both languages from the earliest years — a rare offering among Lisbon's international schools. From Grade 5, students transition to the Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE and A-Levels), culminating in the IB Diploma Programme. The first IB cohort in 2022 achieved an impressive average of 35.2 points — above the global average of approximately 30.
As part of the Inspired Education Group (the same network as King's College Cascais), PaRK students have access to 121 Inspired schools in 28 countries for exchanges and cross-school programmes. The Elite Sports Programme — available in Grades 6–12 — provides individualised coaching in a chosen sport during school hours, a rare offering for families with children serious about sport.
Lunch, mid-morning snack and afternoon snack are included in fees, as are all books and school materials.
With campuses in Alfragide, Praça de Espanha/Restelo and Alvalade, PaRK is the only major international school with multiple Lisbon city locations. Most families have a campus within reasonable distance — no long commute to the suburbs required. The Alfragide campus is considered the flagship with the best facilities.

What families tell us — the things the school's own website won't say
PaRK's reviews are notably varied. Some parents are very positive about the sports programme and the bilingual foundation; others raise serious concerns about English instruction quality in the bilingual stream — one review states "they do not teach in English" — and about pastoral care. As a for-profit school (Inspired Group), fees go to shareholders rather than being reinvested. Three campuses also means quality can vary between locations — ask specifically about the campus your child would attend, and if possible speak to parents at that specific campus. Alfragide is described as the flagship. Apply very early — all campuses are typically full.
